An interactive tree view of the XDM schema associated with any dataset contributing to the profile's identity graph. Use it to navigate to specific fields and trigger dynamic edit forms.

Dataset selector

The dropdown lists all datasets sourced from the profile's identity graph. Selecting a dataset loads its full XDM schema in the left panel.

Example: selecting Demo System - Website Profile Dataset (Global v1.2) loads the website profile schema with all its field groups.

Use the Search schema… input at the top of the tree to filter nodes by field name — useful in large schemas with many nested field groups.

Schema tree structure

The schema renders as a collapsible tree. Each node shows the field name, an asterisk * if the field is required, the field type (Object, String, Boolean, etc.), and an expand arrow for objects with children.

Typical top-level field groups

Triggering an edit form

💡 Double-click any field or object in the schema tree to generate a dynamic edit form for that node. The form is pre-filled with the profile's current values. Read-only fields (system and identity) are rendered as disabled inputs and cannot be modified.
