In case of first-time installation on ios follow this
OPENING MOBILE PROJECT IN THE APP
- Open your mobile project and click "Run" in the top right corner.

3. Open your app (If you are opening the app for the first time you might need to trust the Adobe certificate - details here: document. You also need to sign in with your Adobe ID)
4. Go to the settings screen in the app

5. Switch from the public project to the custom project using the radio button

6. Click the QR code icon next to the project ID and scan the QR code displayed as described on p.2

7. Click "Save" to load your project.
Each project has a tool called "Profile Viewer" where you can see. Use a Swipe gesture from left to right to open it

Profile Viewer reads real data from AEP. You should be able to preview changes while browsing the app, signing in, etc.
To learn more about the Profile Viewer and its ability to modify its fields and displayed events check this section: Profile Viewer
To send data to AEP we can do the following actions
- Start with an anonymous profile on the mobile app. Profile viewer should have no data except for ECID, an anonymous user identifier. You can use this ID to search for the profile in AEP UI.
- Collect experience events while browsing products/adding them to a cart/making purchases/registering for webinars etc.
The Below example is for a retail project, but for other verticals, the mechanism is the same.

2. All these events should be tracked and sent to AEP. Open the profile viewer to see them in the Experience Events section.

To go to the sign-in screen, type the email address of a profile already in AEP. By clicking on the below icon on the top left corner of the app.

3. Sign in to the mobile app. If you have a website project created during Step 1 and already registered on the website, you should have a profile to log in to the mobile app. Click in the top left corner of the screen

After a successful login (you might need to wait 30 seconds), open the profile viewer. You should see all the profile details, segments, and experience events from the website.

If you open your website project and log in with the same email, you should be able to see all mobile events there too. There are two ECIDs as this profile uses two devices.

All of these data are also visible in the AEP UI.
If you want to reset the experience in the mobile app, to start again as an anonymous profile, go to the Settings screen and click the "RESET PROFILE" button. A new ECID will be assigned to the device and you will be able to show the same or different journey again.
