Inbox

The Inbox channel in Adobe Journey Optimizer delivers persistent marketing messages directly within mobile apps or websites. Unlike push notifications or in-app messages that disappear after a single interaction, Inbox messages remain accessible until the user removes them or they expire — giving customers a dedicated mailbox for brand content they can return to at any time.

Luma is a fashion-forward retail brand offering men's and women's apparel, outdoor gear, and lifestyle accessories. The following scenario demonstrates how Luma uses Adobe Journey Optimizer's Inbox channel to deliver targeted, persistent content cards that drive engagement and conversion across their app and website.

The Inbox channel is available in the Live Demos mobile app. The app includes a dedicated Inbox screen in the bottom navigation bar, making it easy for users to access their personalized content cards at any time.

1. Open the app

2. Look at the bottom navigation bar — you will see five tabs: Home, Categories, Blog, Inbox, Settings

3. Tap Inbox to open the messages

4. The Inbox lists all active content card campaigns personalized for the current user profile

5. Tap any card to view the full campaign detail and interact with the CTA





The red dot indicator on each card denotes an unread message. Cards remain in the inbox until they expire.

The following campaigns are configured in Adobe Journey Optimizer and delivered to the Live Demos app. Each campaign uses a Content Card action type.
